Mr Target Demographic Diary writes: Limbsy once again! Albeit not as sweet as the Barnet game - an added time equaliser is still nothing to scoff at. There are also many positives to take for me from that Halifax game; we matched the team in second and should have probably taken all three points, Maguire-Drew looked very good and the passion from the players to keep going despite it just not looking like our day gives me hope that a corner has been turned in terms of performances with Town's new year’s resolution being to win more football games. Fingers crossed it doesn't end up like many diets and workout routines, gone by February.

I always like to look at the highlights of our games after watching them in person just to gauge how close or how tight it was to going over the line as often my seat in the Main Stand doesn't tell the whole story. After watching the video, I like to look at the comments on the video just to see what people made of the game and there are always your typical "the editing needs to be better" and many a "UTM" but sometimes you get an opposition fan in the comments of highlights uploaded on our channel trying to stir things up. For example, all a Halifax fan had to say this week was "fair point" and that was enough to provoke 19 heated replies to the comment. To put this in perspective for you, there are only seven comments not including that one on the video. Some people are just looking for a keyboard war, I guess.

Which brings us to Badge-gate, As a young one, the position of the flag on the trawler bears no meaning to me. The only problem I have with it is that it almost looks out of place and congests the middle of the badge with unneeded boasting about the year we were founded. I like our rich history, it gives me leverage in an argument with another fan, but I don't need a flag to commemorate it. That is not to say I could do any better. I'll take my D in art and stick to writing.

On a side note, did anyone else see Reece Hall-Johnson's goal for Wrexham against Notts County the other day. What a thunderbolt! I really like the type of player Reece has become and if he can stay without long term injury, I wouldn't mind having him back. However, RB isn't a position we are particularly lacking at the moment so I'll leave my transfer targets out.

However, in Football Manager I did get us promoted back to the League in the first season and have re-signed Jon Nolan, Aristote Nsiala and Anthony Glennon which is going well as of now as we sit fourth in the table. Does anyone know if there are any scouting jobs going at Grimsby? If so, would you be so kind as to give them my number.
