Tips for 11-12 January
First of all I would like to wish all my readers a happy new year. It seems to be the done thing at this time of year and I don’t want to buck the trend in case all my mates mock me for not following established protocol. Anyway...
I’m beginning to think I spoil you lot, you know. I spent a lot of my Christmas holiday trying to help you lot win a load of money. And how did I do that? Well, the system I use to bring you these tips every week is now 50 per cent bigger. Yes, that’s right I did say 50 (five-oh) per cent bigger than it was before Christmas.
Previously I have included Rangers and Celtic in my tips even though they were not covered by the trusty system. But now they are! As are the rest of the SPL and the whole of the Vauxhall Conference (or whatever it’s called these days). And how much has this huge improvement set you back? Nothing. Not a penny. Nada. I did it all out of the goodness of my own heart. Like I said, I spoil you lucky buggers.
And now down to business. Another strong week for the system this week with all my main tips being rated at over 500. These are:
|
Birmingham v Arsenal |
Away |
(-509) |
4/7 |
| West Brom v Man Utd |
Away |
(-633) |
8/15 |
| Coventry v Brighton |
Home |
(649) |
4/7 |
| Leicester v Stoke |
Home |
(1013) |
4/9 |
| Oldham v Brentford |
Home |
(535) |
8/11 |
| Northampton v Cardiff |
Away |
(-540) |
10/11 |
| Swansea v Bury |
Away |
(-563) |
11/10 |
| Hull v Exeter |
Home |
(547) |
8/15 |
| Macclesfield v Hartlepool |
Away |
(-614) |
11/10 |
The observant among you will have spotted something that might seem a bit odd. I have added in two whole new leagues from which to back teams and yet no SPL or Conference teams appear in this week's tips. Are all the matches too hard to call? Even the Rangers and Celtic games? No. They’re all on bloody holiday. Well, the SPL are and I think the Conference teams are involved in the FA Trophy thirrd Round or something.
The system is bigger and better so will the bets be biggerer and betterer? Nope - same old plan as last year: 1 point on the whole lot coming in and two multiples with 2 points apiece on them. And the multiples this week will be Hull, Hartlepool, Leicester, Coventry and Arsenal in one and Man U, Oldham, Cardiff, Bury and Newcastle to win at West Ham with odds of 11/8 in the second. Newcastle winning at the Boleyn is rated –492 so only narrowly missed out on being in the accumulator.
Bets
1 point on the accumulator at a potential return of 121.95
2 points on Hull, Hartlepool, Leicester, Coventry and Arsenal, which ought to return 22.97
2 points on Man Utd, Oldham, Cardiff, Bury and Newcastle, bringing us 50.44 back
So that’s the end of the tips. This weekend my system says Grimsby will lose to Wimbledon. But on the bright side Brighton are losing to Coventry, Palace are beating Bradford, Stoke are going down to Leicester and Reading will be thumping Sheffield Wednesday.
