This is the 2008-09 season
Is it really five years in the bottom flight of the Football League? Yes. Yes it is. Yes, we're still where Nicky Law left us. Yes, we're still where Russell Slade's promotion play-off failure kept us. And the board felt that Alan Buckley wasn't the man to change that when they dismissed him on Monday 15 September. Will we better our 16th-place finish last year? Unknown. That is what the future holds. This, ladies, gentlemen, will be the 2008-09 season.
