It became tradition in the French national team for the players to kiss Fabien Barthez's baldy heed for luck. In this shot from the Town vs Chesterfield matchday programme, Tony Crane looks as if he's re-enacting this slaphead smackeroonie on Swindon's Tommy Mooney. Tony's an ambitious lad, trying to out-gurn his Swindon counterpart, but his gobstopper/plosive puke mouth and vinegar stroke eyes combination just isn't good enough to win this battle. The irony of the situation is that Mooney wasn't even gurning at the time - he just looks like that all the time.
