Before the summer of 2003, way back when the Mariners were still a second-flight side, one of the Cod Almighty team suggested that some rather groovy T-shirts might be the order of the day for Town fans. A few weeks later that same person sought inspiration and a creative spark. One helluva massive drinking bender later, the fruits of his sacrifice (in the name of art, you understand) sat around on several people's desktops for a few months. Then, one day, someone remembered that once upon a time we were going to do some T-shirts. And so, we got our act together...
The fruits of that labour were the original slogan T-shirts, which got a bit of publicity on the local and national news. And we haven't looked back since, building up a selection of T-shirts carrying some of Town's greatest heroes.
The cost of the T-shirts is kept as low as possible, mainly as we just want you to look so goddamn cool in your Grimsby-inspired clothing. Any small profits we make from the clothing goes to pay for this fanzine's web hosting. Anything left over from that, we use to buy shares in the club or to sponsor players and stuff like that.
