Florida - land of the beautiful Everglades, alligators, fabulous wealth and right-wing nutters. And of course Disneyland, where Town fan Simon Stephenson (pictured below) decided to sport our iconic 'I heart GY' T-shirt on a recent visit. "I did have a few comments asking where GY was," recalls Simon. "I looked at them in disgust." Insert your own joke here about Mickey Mouse football clubs.

British serviceman, GTFC fan and Cod Almighty reader John Lewis has been back in touch. You may remember John and his colleagues from this amazing photo in Basra, Iraq, a couple of years back, a few seconds before they came under rocket attack. This time John is in the somewhat more peaceful surroundings of Nepal with a heavily personalised edition of our vintage 'We Piss on Your Fish' T-shirt.

John Lewis and the WPOYF T-shirt at Namche Bazaar, Nepal

"I had a recent trip to Mt Everest Base Camp," explains John. "It was way too cold to get a photo of a T-shirt at Base Camp, so we put a T-shirt up at a bar in Namche Bazaar." Thanks, mate – keep 'em coming, and our continued best wishes to you and your comrades serving out there.

Over to the USA now, readers. It was the world's tallest building from 1931 to 1972. It has 6,500 windows and 103 floors. It survived a B-25 bomber smashing into it in 1945, and its distinctive art deco style and location in the heart of New York City make it one of the most widely recognised buildings in the world. It's also had us spanking Wikipedia all afternoon, in case you couldn't tell.

Not only that, but the Empire State Building has recently been ascended by a representative of Grimsby (which is more than can be said for the fourth division league table). Town fan and Cod Almighty reader Adam Swallow is the one.

Adam and his I heart GY shirt on the Empire State Building

"Thought it would be appropriate, being in the Big Apple and all, to wear my I heart GY T-shirt," explains Adam, "especially with the design being influenced by the original I heart NY logo." Shush! Don't tell! "Plus all us Mariners love to gloat about our club, even if we are currently having a tough time at present." That's the spirit! These little Town blues are melting away...

Got a shot of yourself modelling one of our T-shirts? Mail us the image and we'll stick it up here alongside these others.
