21 December 2012

Mardy Diary writes: Hello. Sorry, you catch me in the middle of pub attendance. It's not a good time to catch me, I'll be honest.

The big news today, of course, is that there's a match tonight. I'm sure you're well aware of it, and rather than me waffle on about it you can take a look at our factfile which will give you all the information you're likely to need.

In regards to other news it's mainly as you were: the signing of Neilson is looking unlikely, but not completely impossible. Whereas the signing of Hannah is looking fairly probable with a slight chance that the club won't agree a fee with Bradford. Scott has told the Telegraph that the focus is (rightly) on the game tonight, then they will look to agree deals with the players, where possible. Either way, neither will make an appearance for the club until at least the new year.

Things may be a bit hit-and-miss on the site over Christmas, but we'll try to bring you news, reports and factfiles as we find the time. Our parent company Cod Almighty Global Megalomaniacs Inc. likes to give us a five-week holiday and as much gold as we can eat, but some of us are so devoted to the cause that we turn up anyway. Have a good 'un. Mine's a pint.
